Managing My Funding
You get to choose how you wish to manage your Passport funding. Our Passport program will provide you with information about your options. Here is a summary:
The Ministry funded Transfer Payment Agency would take care of the reimbursement process on your behalf. The Transfer Payment Agency can charge up to 10% of your total Passport funding for taking on the administrative functions.
Some people find it hard to find support workers, or places where you can purchase day support services. Our Passport Agency can help you by providing you with information about service provider agencies. Service provider agencies can be Ministry-funded agencies that offer fee-for-service day support options, or they can also be private agencies. Please call your Passport Coordinator for information about service provider options in your community. Please note that our Passport Agency cannot endorse any providers… it will be up to you or your Person Managing Funds to check out the various options and make decisions that you feel are best.
