Welcome to the Hamilton/Niagara Passport Funding Website!
The Passport Program is funded by the Ontario Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services (MCCSS). The Passport funding Program helps adults with developmental disabilities stay involved in their communities and live as independently as possible. It provides direct funding for community participation services and supports, activities of daily living, and person-directed planning. The program also provides funding for caregiver respite for primary caregivers of adults with developmental disabilities.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: New funding increase takes effect August 17, 2026
All Passport recipients will be receiving a funding increase on August 17, 2026. Your local Passport agency will be in touch with you during the next few weeks to confirm your new funding amount.
If you currently receive $5,500 your new funding amount will be $5,665.
If you submit your claims through MyDirectPlan and you have consented to the new update, your account will show your new funding amount when you log in.
